Her work has since evolved and she has developed her own fabric in jersey to make unique, vintage-feeling t-shirts. The creator defines her style as hippy-chic and thinks that clothes should be comfortable enough to sleep in. 2009 marked a maturation for Raquel Allegra label as the collection expanded from her trademark shredded tees to include richly textured pieces in deerskin, linen, cashmere, and French lace.
