Æquō Contemporary Design Gallery Mumbai
Tarini Jinal Handa’s newly opened space is showcasing ‘Handmade Tale’ an æquō x Boris Bucher collaboration. The show explores the ancient handicraft of bidri through the lens of Boris Bucher, a multidisciplinary artist, designer and artist.

Experimenter Colaba
Fine art photographer Soumya Shankar’s solo show ‘A Discreet Exit Through Darkness’ is on display for the Mumbai Art Gallery Weekend. Shankar’s haunting show traces the disappearance of his mother at the young age of 9 and captures how she remembers her life before and after the incident.

Take a break from gallery hopping and head to Sassoon Docks for a refreshing, unsanitized experience of Colaba. The second iteration of the Urban Art Festival features a series of local and global artists whose works question the impact of human consumption of nature’s resources with a particular focus on marine life. A part of the show highlights the overuse of plastic with an installation at Evelyn House.
