Some of Arundhati’s fondest childhood memories revolve around her mother, Shobaa De’s jewellery. Whether it was heaping multiple necklaces around her neck and happily preening at the camera at age 2, or getting caught rummaging through the jewellery drawer at age 7; or worse, getting into serious trouble for misplacing precious diamond ear-studs as a teenager – jewellery has always played a significant role in her life.

After having graduated from the prestigious ESSEC Business School in Paris and being selected for the LVMH program (specialising in Luxury Brand Management), Arundhati’s first tryst with exceptional fine jewellery was at Cartier Dubai. Most recently she was a contributing writer on jewellery for Harper’s Bazaar India.
