Love Hard
This new-age rom-com begins with Natalie (played by Nina Dobrev) traveling across the country to surprise Josh, a guy she met online, only to discover she’s been catfished. Stranded in a small town without her luggage, she decides to help Josh by pretending to be his girlfriend to impress his family. In turn, Josh will help her win over the guy whose photos she originally fell for. The feel-good movie is sprinkled with references to classic Christmas movies and karaoke scenes.

Klaus
Jesper is sent to a frozen, faraway place called Smeerensburg to get a postal office up and running. There’s just one problem- nobody in Smeerensburg wants to exchange words, let alone letters. Here Jesper befriends Klaus the toymaker and together their gifts melt the feud of the ages and deliver the holiday spirit on a sleigh.

A Boy Called Christmas
Based on a children's book of the same name, A Boy Called Christmas is a whimsical Santa origin story that stars Henry Lawfull, Maggie Smith, Kristen Wiig and Sally Hawkins. A poor Finnish boy called Nikolas sets off to find his father who has left him behind to find the fabled village of Elfhelm, where elves live. There’s even a magical mouse and the reindeer Blitzen involved.

8-bit Christmas
If you’re a sucker for nostalgia, this one’s for you. Set in suburban Chicago in the late 80s, this family comedy follows a 10-year-old on a quest for the latest and greatest video game system for Christmas. Starring Neil Patrick Harris, June Diane Raphael and Steve Zahn, the movie offers a heavy dose of nostalgia for Gen X.
