This necklace strings together an assortment of gemstones along a single fine chain, amethyst, carnelian, peridot, sodalite, citrine, smoky quartz, moonstone, fluorite and labradorite among them. Each bead differs slightly in shape and tone, creating an uneven, textural rhythm from one stone to the next. A freshwater baroque pearl breaks the sequence at one point along the strand. The necklace fastens with a gold plated toggle clasp, finished simply to let the mix of stones remain the focus throughout.
