The leg on these pants follows a tailored line rather than a loose one, cut close from waist to ankle in the same grain de poudre virgin wool used elsewhere in the collection. The fine, granular texture of the fabric gives the surface a subtle depth, and the wool's own body allows the trouser to hold a clean crease through wear. A structured waistband anchors the fit. Grain de poudre remains a staple within Balmain's tailoring, and this tailored version offers a sharper counterpart to the label's looser wool trousers cut from the same fabric. The finished trouser keeps close to the same fabric character found in the label's other grain de poudre pieces.
