Dries van Noten is the designer who is revered to have put Belgium on the global fashion map. He belonged to the rule-breaking Antwerp Six collective, a group of six designers who graduated from Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts during the ’80s and made a splash all across London. He is the third generation in a family of designers and tailors who launched his own eponymous label in 1986.
